Brandon Taylor

Brandon is an entertainment attorney focusing on transactional matters in the theater industry. Brandon helps guide producers through the development and financing stages of new productions including negotiating various deals with authors, composers, and other creatives; drafting financing agreements; and ensuring fundraising complies with state and federal securities regulations. Brandon also serves as counsel to a premier theatrical stock and amateur licensing company where he negotiates various agreements on behalf of the company and advises on day-to-day legal matters. Prior to joining Klaris, Brandon was an associate at Nevin Law Group where he served on the production counsel team of numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

During law school, Brandon was the legal intern for six months at Actors’ Equity Association, and subsequently remained at Actor’s Equity in a staff position before joining the legal department at SAG-AFTRA in the New York office as a summer legal intern. During his last year of law school Brandon worked full time as a paralegal at a boutique entertainment law firm in New York City where he focused on tracking and managing federal securities compliance throughout the fundraising period of several Broadway productions and worked with the attorneys on various agreements for theatrical productions.
