Josef Ghosn

Josef Ghosn is passionate about advising and counseling media entities and content creators across a wide variety of creative spaces. Josef is dedicated to preserving and protecting the First Amendment rights of journalists and media organizations, with a focus on pre-publication review of print and digital content and representing media organizations throughout the various phases of litigation.

Prior to joining Klaris, Josef was a fellow with the Media Law Resource Center where he monitored and analyzed developments in the law impacting digital media and publishing, focusing on First Amendment issues, defamation, privacy, and intellectual property. After completing his fellowship, Josef was a litigation associate with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP where he represented domestic and foreign manufacturers and distributors in federal and state courts. Additionally, he counseled clients on political, religious, and public policy issues relating to First Amendment free speech rights. Josef majored in International Studies at Southern Adventist University and earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and Florida.

Josef grew up in Orlando and currently lives in Manhattan. When he’s not actively defending the First Amendment, Josef dabbles in stand-up comedy and you can catch him at comedy clubs around New York City.
